2019 Networking Lunch & CLE!

We are excited for this year’s Networking Lunch & CLE. Not only will this event provide plenty of opportunity for you to network with your colleagues, but it will also satisfy the new requirement, effective January 1, 2019, that all Oregon State Bar Members complete at least one hour of continuing legal education related to mental health, substance use, or cognitive impairment that may affect a lawyer’s ability to practice law.
The practice of law can be fast-paced, challenging, and stressful. Lawyers experience mental health concerns like anxiety, depression and problematic substance use higher than the general public and often face barriers to accepting help. This one hour presentation by Shari Gregory from the Oregon Attorney Assistance Program (OAAP) will help those in attendance identify when to ask for assistance for themselves and others and provide ways to access help.
